Shipping & Returns Policies

Shipping Charges

  • Shipping in India: Free
  • International: Rs. 500 & above. (Varies with shipping zones and size of the package)
  • All Return Shipping: Payable by customer except in the case of defective garments - if the mistake was from our end 
  • Altered/exchanged garments being RE-SENT to customer: Paid by O Layla

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel/edit your order if we have not already started processing your order or shipped the pieces. Please contact us on +91-9820057460 (Mon-Sat 11 am - 6 pm) to make any changes to your order.

How soon will my order reach me?

Most of the pieces are made only after confirmation of an order. We currently take 10-12 working days to get the garment ready for shipping. And 2-3 working days to have it delivered to you - in India. If, the piece is in stock with us - we will be able to ship it within two days (not including Sunday).
We will update you regarding the same at the time you place the order. 

How do I know you’ve shipped my order?

Once the order has shipped - you will receive an automated email notification with the tracking number of the item. We will also update you regarding the same on WhatsApp. Our logistics team will be following up with the courier and yourself till you receive the item

  • Returns Policy

     

    We understand that there may be cases where you may wish to return your purchase in exchange for other merchandise or for a complete refund. We are happy to assist you through the return process. Please read this section carefully to understand if your purchase can be returned. Do note that a purchase can be exchanged or have its cost refunded only if it qualifies for return.

     

    For a hassle-free return experience, please review the following steps.

    1. Ensure that your purchase is eligible for return (see section A)
    2. Confirm that your purchase is not disqualified from return (see section B)
    3. For exchange of your purchase, please check the conditions for exchange (see section C)
    4. For a refund against your purchase, please check the conditions for refund (see section D)
    5. Follow the return process listed below (see sections E and F)

    1. Is my purchase eligible for return?

    Please check if the product that you wish to return meets all of the following conditions.

    • The merchandise is not damaged (stained, torn, stressed etc.) after you have received it.
    • The merchandise is unused and in the same condition that you received it.
    • The merchandise has its tags and labels still attached.
    • The merchandise is not disqualified from return.

     

    1. Is my purchase disqualified from return?

    A purchase, although eligible for return as above, cannot be returned if it meets any of the following conditions.

    • The merchandise is ineligible from being returned under the terms of its purchase.
    • The merchandise is made-to-order or is custom-made to your measurements
    • The merchandise has undergone alterations at your request. For example, adding a sleeve to a sleeveless design or making the merchandise looser or tighter.
    • The merchandise is promotional merchandise. Please see the description of each product before purchase.
    • The merchandise is not returned as per the return process described below.

     

    If your purchase is eligible for return and is not disqualified from returns, you may seek an exchange or a refund, as per the policies below.

     

    1. What is the policy regarding exchange?
    • Only merchandise that is eligible for return (as per step A) and is not disqualified from returns (as per step B) can be exchanged.
    • All exchanges are subject to availability.
    • Standard size merchandise may be exchanged for another size in same style, or for another style. In case the exchanged merchandise chosen by you is of a lesser cost than your original purchase, we will issue a credit note to you for the balance amount. In case you wish to exchange your merchandise with that of a higher cost than your purchase, we will issue a coupon code for the amount already paid by you or will share a payment link for the balance price, which will ensure that you pay only the difference.
    • The merchandise may be exchanged for a credit note which you may redeem against a future purchase.
    • Please note that a credit note is not transferable and is valid for 3 months from issue or till March 31, whichever is earlier.

     

    1. What is the policy regarding refund?
    • We issue refunds only in cases where you have received a defective or damaged merchandise. In such cases, we will refund the full cost of the purchase and the cost of returning the merchandise.
    • If your purchase is not eligible for refunds, it may still qualify for exchange.
    • Refund payments will be made by the same mode as the payment being refunded was received by us.

     

    1. What is the return process to be followed?
    • Inform us about the merchandise that you wish to return within 3 (three) days of receipt of the merchandise. You may inform us by an email at enquiry@olayla.in or call or WhatsApp us on +91-9820057460 (Mon-Sat, 11 am to 6 pm).
    • We will verify the details of the purchase and confirm that you may send us the merchandise.
    • Dispatch the merchandise to us within 10 days from the date of our confirmation.
    • Once we receive and inspect the merchandise, we will confirm that we have received the merchandise and will notify you about the approval or rejection of your request for return.
    • For all requests for returns which are accepted, we will process an exchange or initiate a refund.
    • For all requests for returns which are not accepted, we will ship the merchandise back to you.

     

    1. What are the important points regarding returns?
    • Please note that returns of eligible and non-disqualified merchandise are possible only if: (a) you have notified us of your wish to return the merchandise within 3 (three) days of receipt of the merchandise and (b) the merchandise is returned to us within 10 (ten) days from date of our confirmation regarding the return.
    • The costs involved in shipping the merchandise back to us are non-refundable and are to be borne by you. However, if you have received a defective or a damaged merchandise, or if we have inadvertently shipped you a wrong order, we will bear the cost of returning the merchandise.
    • If you are shipping an item over INR 1,000, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot assure you that we will receive the merchandise.
